The exchange Four Dragons with offices in Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Kazakhstan announced a major cyberattack. According to some estimates, more than $100 million was stolen as a result of the hack.
Kyrgyzstan’s cyber police are investigating, and the crypto exchange’s management promises to return 10% of the recovered funds to anyone who helps.
The hack could undermine confidence in crypto platforms in a country where cryptocurrency activity is officially legal.
