The Lido platform on the Solana network, which previously allowed users to efficiently place any number of SOLs in steaking with a 5% yield, was shut down last October due to financial issues and low fees.
Until February, users were able to withdraw their funds from steaking through a user-friendly interface, but this feature was temporarily suspended, leaving users with only the ability to cancel steaking through Solana's command line interface (CLI).
In March, many users struggled due to the complexity of the process. 112,000 StSOLs worth about $24 million are still stored on more than 31,000 wallets. Owners complain about the problem of lack of communication and suggestions from the Lido Finance team on how to resolve the situation.
