On March 14, cryptocurrency exchange Bybit was placed on a list of suspicious exchanges by Hong Kong's local regulator. The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) categorized 11 of the exchange's products as problematic, including futures contracts, options, staking, credit services and other available services on the platform.
The regulator is concerned that the company doesn't have a license to operate in the country and isn't registered with its authorities. Bybit claims that the said products aren't available to Hong Kong investors.
