International payment system Mastercard together with cryptocurrency wallet MetaMask are testing the first payment card based on blockchain technology.
According to promotional materials, the MetaMask/Mastercard payment card will be presented as the first ever truly decentralized Web3 payment solution. Cardholders will be able to use the cryptocurrency for everyday purchases wherever it is accepted.
